Paris
Paris is divided into 20 districts called “arrondissements” and they are numbered 1 to 20.
The last two numbers of the post code identify the arrondissement.
NOTE: I have apartments available all over Paris, I have listed just a small selection of my personal favourites.
All apartments include use of utilities, gas and electricity, air conditioning is sometimes extra.Most apartments have wifi capacity and telephones, televisions and radios . Smokers are urged to smoke only in outside areas of apartments. I can tell you which places are suitable.
In many apartments in Paris, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
Private car transfer can be organised from airports or stations, or if you want your own car and driver for a day out to Giverny or Disneyland. Transfers from airports start at €77.
Although prices quoted are per week, the minimum stay is 3 nights, and this is calculated on a forfait scale. If €1400 per week it will be €1400 divided by 7 days plus 10-25%.
Isle St Louis
If you ask Parisians where they would like to live, more than 90% will reply, Ile Saint Louis. It has a village feel with a lovely mix of galleries, boutiques, specialist cheese and wine stores, restaurants and the big attraction, the Berthillon ice-cream salons.
The island is opposite Notre Dame cathedral and one of the trendiest place in the whole of paris. It used to be an island but now five bridges attach it to the mainland.
Isle St Louis (1)
This is a superior one bedroom apartment on 1st floor.
About 45 sq metres of practical romantic luxury, that is fully-equipped kitchen and marble bathroom. Satellite Tv and wi-fi. This apartment belongs to someone who often stays in it, so is extremely easy to live in and is more beautiful than it looks in the photos.
Nearest metro: Pont Marie in 4th arrondissement or Notre Dame…..a few steps from Notre-Dame-de-Paris, Le Quartier Latin, Le Marais, Le Louvre, Centre Pompidou, la Bastille…It is a perfect, CENTRAL LOCATION, from which you can explore, walk, and fall in love with Paris….
And just over the bridge is The Rive Gauche only 10 minutes walk away.
Capacity: 4 adults or 2 children and 2 adults.
Price: € 240 night for week or more, €290 per night 3-6 nights. Rates include one way private car transfer.

This extremely gracious ground floor apartment in Isle st Louis is almost on the Seine river. It has a courtyard where Camille Claudel, Rodin’s lover, lived until she was committed to an institution.

This part of Paris is known as ‘Les Grands Boulevards’. The Grands Boulevards are long chains of avenues that join the Madeleine to the Opera to the gates of St. Denis and St. Martin, the last to the place de la Republique, and the Republique to the Bastille.
Overlooks a small leafy park.
Nearest metro: Cadet, opposite a park .15 minute walk to opera.
This charming first floor apartment has about 15 stairs.
